Bringing Qualified Primary Care Providers to Oregon – Seeks to address the shortage of health care providers in Oregon, especially in rural communities.

Supporting Primary Care Providers in Rural Oregon – directs the Office of Rural Health to create a loan forgiveness program for primary care practitioners.

Accessing Health Care in Rural Oregon – renews the Rural Medical Liability Subsidy Fund, which provides payments to insurers that subsidize the cost of medical malpractice liability insurance premiums for medical providers in rural Oregon.

Protecting School Based Health Care - protects funding for School Based Health Centers that provide primary and mental health services to children in schools.

Protecting Health Care Coverage for Low-Income Oregonians - protects the health care coverage of over 60,000 low-income Oregonians who are currently served by the Oregon Health Plan.

Providing Health Care for Kids - ensures that kids have access to health care by eliminating rate reductions for primary care providers.

Helping Oregon’s Rural Hospitals - eliminates the rate reduction for hospitals in small, rural areas that provide essential emergency and other health services to rural communities.

Protecting Emergency Care Services for Kids and Rural Oregon - restores Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for Children and the mobile training unit, which keeps rural volunteer emergency response agencies educated.

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families - The budget funds the Family Support and Connections program at $4.2 million, maintaining all but about $250,000 of the 2009-11 funding level.
