Senate District 5

Tall timbers and miles of flowing sand dunes encompass the legislative district represented by Arnie Roblan. The district, known as District 9 spans from Coos Bay on the southern end to Florence in the north. Inward the district takes in small regions of Lane County. The new Senate District 5 formerly represented by Sen. JoAnne Verger from Coos Bay runs from Coos Bay in the South all the way across Lincoln County to Southern Tillamook county at the Northern tip and includes Western Douglas, Lane, and Polk counties.

Rich in beauty and natural resources, the Oregon Coast is a vital area of our state. The district is known for fishing and timber and more recently tourism. Representative Roblan has been a strong representative to his district and his values have always reflected the Southern Oregon Coast. He looks forward to a new role in Salem fighting for the entire Oregon Coast and the people of Senate District 5.

From helping re-establish the Coos Bay Rail Link to the emergency funding of coastal fisherman, Arnie has been a strong advocate and powerful voice for this beautiful region. He will to continue to provide effective leadership that works for the entire Oregon Coast.
